Book the arena without double-booking
TL;DR
Staff add arenas and wash racks under Bookings, then confirm slots. Horse owners request or auto-book open times when the barn allows it. Pro after trial.

How to (staff)
- Open Bookings (
/app/bookings). Pro after trial (trial includes it). - Add a resource: name, property, capacity, slot length, owner policy (request / auto-book / staff only).
- Create a confirmed booking, or Confirm an owner request. Cancel frees the slot.
- Confirmed overlapping bookings cannot exceed capacity. Adjacent times that only touch do not conflict.
How to (horse owner)
- Portal → Book a resource (
/portal/bookings) or Home → Book a resource. - Pick an open slot. Request waits for staff; auto-book confirms if the slot is still open.
- Cancel from Your upcoming slots if plans change.
Example
Willow’s indoor arena capacity 1, 60-minute slots, owner policy Request. Maya requests Tuesday 2 p.m. The manager confirms. A second request for 2–3 p.m. is blocked once confirmed.

- Not calendar events (
calendar_events). Arena lessons on Calendar stay separate. - Not show classes or paid slot checkout.
- Staff-only resources never appear in the owner portal.
