Inventory

Open Inventory from the staff nav. Track feed, bedding, supplements, and barn supplies with optional reorder alerts.

Items

Each inventory row includes:

• Name and optional SKU / notes
• Quantity on hand
• Unit (bags, bales, each, lbs, etc.)
• Reorder level — when quantity is at or below this, the item is low stock
• Optional property — scope stock to one barn, or leave org-wide

Add or edit

1. Use Add item (or edit an existing row).
2. Set starting quantity and unit.
3. Set a reorder level greater than zero if you want low-stock flags.
4. Optionally attach the item to a property for multi-location barns.

Adjust quantity

Use Adjust on a line to add or subtract stock after deliveries or usage (for example +10 bags delivered, −2 used). Adjustments update quantity without deleting history of the item itself.

Filters

• Property — focus one barn’s stock
• Stock — show low-stock only (or all)
• Search — name / notes

Low-stock counts appear on the inventory board so you can reorder before the aisle runs out.

Today attention

When reorder levels are set, low stock can surface in the Today attention / attention-style feeds so the morning crew sees supply issues alongside care.

Multi-location tips

• Prefer property-scoped items when barns do not share a feed room.
• Use the global Location switcher together with inventory property filters for consistency.
• Delete only when an SKU is retired; prefer adjusting quantity to zero if you may restock.
