Morning strip, stickers, and heat
TL;DR
Use the Morning chips to show only empty stalls, unassigned horses, or units with care or health due. Stickers are the small badges on tiles; Heat: fill and Heat: care color the board. Preferences stay in this browser.

For: Staff. Route: /app/stalls?view=map — Morning strip under the toolbar; Stickers and Heat in the toolbar.
These tools filter and color the board. They do not complete care tasks (do that on Today / the horse record).
How to run a morning pass
- Open Stalls → Map for this barn.
- Read the Morning chips. If nothing is due, you see Barn looks good.
- Tap N empty to spotlight empty stalls, N unassigned to focus the tray, N care open or N health for due work, or N units need attention for any alert.
- Work those tiles (drawer, Today, or horse profile), then tap the chip again or Clear filter.
- Leave Stickers on so missed care (
!), care today (C), health overdue (H), and health due soon (h) stay visible on tiles. - Optionally set Heat: fill (how full) or Heat: care (alert load) when you want busy aisles to pop; Heat: off shows true stall colors.
Example
Tuesday 6:40 a.m.: Morning shows 3 empty, 1 unassigned, 6 care open. You tap care open, walk the highlighted stalls, then Clear filter. Stickers stay on so the aisle still shows ! on missed feeds. Heat stays off during feeding so empty/full colors stay familiar.

Hint on the map: “Heat: off= true colors, fill= occupancy, care= alerts.” Preference: localStorage stablesync-map-heat.
Signals (AI)

Open care on horses with no unit_id increments the care open chip but does not paint a stall until they are assigned.
Staff still completes tasks on Today (/app) and horse care screens — the map only points at units.
