Print the stall board
TL;DR
On Property Map, set the property, zoom, and heat the way you want the paper to look, then click Print board. Chrome/Edge print dialog: landscape usually fits a long aisle. Toolbar, tray, and draw tools stay off the page.

For: Staff. Route: /app/stalls?view=map → toolbar Print board.
How to print
- Open Stalls → Map and pick the property.
- Set what should appear on paper:
- Zoom so the aisle fits (try − once or twice for large barns).
- Heat and Stickers if you want those cues on the printout.
- Morning filter and search do dim tiles on screen; clear them if you want every stall equally visible.
- Click Print board (opens the browser print dialog —
window.print()). - Choose Landscape for a long aisle, enable Background graphics if stalls look washed out, then Print or Save as PDF.
The left tray, toolbar, overlay editor, and drawing HUD are hidden on paper. Stall tiles, horse chips, overlay lines/zones, and the sketch background remain.
Example
Show weekend: you print Willow’s map with Heat: off and Stickers on so volunteers see C on feeding stalls. Landscape, 1 copy, posted on the tack-room door. After the show, print again with Heat: fill for the manager’s occupancy snapshot — that setting is only in this browser, so another computer still prints with its own heat preference.

What prints vs what does not
Included (.stall-map-print-root / .stall-map-print-canvas):
- Stall tiles at the current zoom, occupancy colors or heatmap.
- Horse names/photos on tiles.
- Saved aisles and zones (SVG).
- Current sketch (dots / aisle floor / courtyard).
Excluded (.map-no-print):
- Toolbar (property picker, search, Edit Layout, templates, Print, Intake, Stickers, Heat, List, zoom).
- Morning strip.
- Left units / unassigned panel and Aisles & zones editor.
- Drawing HUD (Undo point / Done / Cancel).
- Unit drawer and dialogs.
Tips
- One property per print — Map is one barn at a time.
- If tiles clip, zoom out or use more pages; overflow is set visible for print.
- Overlay drafts (in-progress clicks) should be Done or Cancel first so you do not print a half-drawn dashed aisle.
- This is a browser print of the CSS grid, not a GIS export and not a mailing PDF from billing.
