Share a pasture without giving away the whole field
TL;DR
Lease a slice of a pasture to a trainer. Staff and the lease holder place horses AM, PM, or all day. Completing a turnout task records occupancy or warns if the allotment is full. Pro after trial.

How to (staff)
- Open the lease holder’s profile → Leases. Choose Shared pasture allotment.
- Pick a pasture, paddock, or run-in. Set how many of their horses may turn out at once (1 through capacity). Activate.
- The stall board and map show 4/10 reserved {name}. Remaining capacity stays barn-operated. Home stalls do not change.
- On Today, the turnout strip shows AM / PM / all-day bars. Completing a turnout care task (with a pasture) records a placement — or warns if that would exceed the allotment. Never silently over.
- Open a pasture on the map to place or remove horses for today.

- Under Turnout today, pick your horse, a leased pasture, and AM / PM / all day.
- You can see other horses currently in that pasture by name (safety). You cannot see their owners.
Example
Willow Training LLC has a 4-horse allotment on PAD-1 (capacity 10). Alex places Maple and two other horses AM. Staff still turn out barn-managed horses into the remaining six. Completing Maple’s turnout task on Today upserts that AM placement.

What this is not
- Not the overnight stall (
horses.unit_id). Turnout is a time-boxed placement. - Not a nested barn.
